Expert independent financial advice from Tom Parmiter of Harken Financial

TOM PARMITER

Director & Independent Financial Adviser

Tom is a member of the Personal Finance Society and a fully qualified and accredited independent financial adviser. With over a decade of experience in financial services, he can provide expert advice on pensions and retirement planning, investment and wealth management, tax and estate planning, protection, and mortgage advice.

After graduating with a 1st Class honours degree, Tom began his career outsourcing on remediation projects for a large banking group. He has held various senior positions in finance, including leading an operation of 150 staff and a directorship at a previous firm. Tom created Harken Financial to build a practice with ethics at its core, developing a supportive culture focused on true independence and best practice to enable clients to prosper.

The word 'Harken' means to attentively listen and attend to, which is fundamental to providing excellent financial planning and advice. No two clients are the same and as such it's important your adviser understands you and your needs so you can meet your objectives. Harken was built upon this sound principle.

Outside of work, Tom is an avid rugby union fan, enjoys spending time with his family, playing squash and running. He supports various charities and is a committee member for a local charity that aims to bring together the local community through clubs, activities and events.
